Cathern Scribner

Scribner - Mrs. Cathern, 72, of Soddy, died Friday in a local hospital. Mrs. Scribner is survived by her husband, Ed Scribner, Soddy; son, Harold Scribner, Soddy; three grandchildren, Russell Scribner, Soddy, Mrs. Danny Walker, Chattanooga; Mrs John Gibson, Daisy; great grandson, John Gibson Jr., Daisy; Mrs. Florence McAfee, Soddy. Mrs. Scribner was a member of Union Fork Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., The Rev. Paul Coffelt and Billy Arms officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Nephews who will be pallbearers are John Woodward, Everett Woodward, Hershell Woodward, Sam McAfee, James McAllister, Llewellyn McAfee. Honorary pallbearers will be ladies of the Friendly Class of the Sunday School. The body will be at the church one hour before the services. Arrangements are by the Williamson Funeral Home.
