Rev. Samuel H. Scrudder

  Schrudder- The Rev. Samuel H., died Friday morning at his home at Glendale.
For the past fifty-two years he had been a minister in the Baptist church,
during which time he held pastorates in many cities.  Surviving are three
sons, R. H., of Signal Mountain; G. I., of Sand Mountain and J. F., of this
city; four daughters, Mrs. S. K. Brown, Glendale; Mrs. Elizabeth Bass, of
Little Rock; Mrs. Callie Guess, of Signal Mountain, and Mrs. Elizabeth
Snyder, also of Chattanooga; three brothers, H. A. of Gold Point; Joseph, of
Spring City, and John Schrudder of Birmingham; and a Sister, Mrs. Rena
McDonald, of this city.  Funeral services will be held in Fairmount church
at 1:30 Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Henry Morgan officiating.
Interment in Fairmount cemetery, arrangements being in charge of Wann's.
