SIMPSON--Funeral services for James Glenn Simpson, 58, employee of
Chattanooga Gas Co., for the past ten years of 1412 West 52nd street,
St. Elmo, who died Wednesday, will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock
at the St. Elmo Church of Christ, Ministers Charles G. Lemons and Paul
Buchanan officiating. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Louise Simpson
Elrod, Chattanooga; son, M/Sgt. Marvin O. Simpson, U.S. Army in Germany;
sister, Mrs. T. G. Hughes, Chattanooga; brother, Walter L. Simpson,
Trenton,
Ga., and two grandchildren, Bonnie and Melynda Wilkerson. Interment will
be in Forest Hills Cemetery. Active Pallbearers: O. A. Ricketts, W. A.
Lewis, Richard D. Cherry, E. Howard Yates, Martin McDonough, R. B. Duke
and W. J. Nuckolls. Honorary pallbearers will be members of his Sunday
School Class and Employees of the Chattanooga Gas Company. The Body is
at the Funeral Home of J. Avery Bryan Co.
