SIMPSON -- WALTER L, 85, of Trenton, Ga., passed away Wednesday morning. A lifelong resident of Dade County, he was a retired farmer. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edith Mahan, Trenton; Miss Irene Simpson, Mrs. Grace Vann, and a son, Clay Simpson, all of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the R. D. Moore Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Deer Head Cove Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are by R. D. Moore Funeral Home, Trenton.
