George Earl Sunderland of Soddy-Daisy died Wednesday, Feb 3, 1999, in a local hospital.  He was 56.

 He was preceded  in death by his father, William Sunderland, and two sisters, Mildred King and Eddie Sue Hamilton.

 He attended the Church of God.

 Survivors include his mother, Elsie Crowe Sunderland; two daughters, Carla Sunderland, Hixson, and Jennifer Metcalf, Ringgold, GA;  one son, Ronnie Earl Sunderland, Rossville;  two brothers, James Sunderland, Graysville, Tenn, and Lonnie Sunderland, Soddy-Daisy; and three grandsons.

 Services will be today at 3p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. David Ferguson officiating.

 Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
