Tabor,
Lindsey D., 78, of Chickamauga, Ga., died Tuesday in a local
hospital. A native of Chattanooga, he was a lifelong resident of
Chattanooga and the North Georgia area. He was a member of Grand
Center Baptist Church and was retired from Chattanooga Box Co. after
43 years of service. He had served with the U.S. Air Force during
World War II. Survivors include his wife, Gracie Tabor; son the Rev.
J. David Tabor, East Ridge; brother, Earl J. Tabor, Rossville;
sister Bernice Beasley, Evensville, Tenn.; two granddaughters,
Lindsey Michelle and Cynthia LaShawn Tabor, both of East Ridge;
several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in
the funeral home chapel with the Rev. J. David Tabor and the Rev.
Warren R. Scott officiating. Burial will be in LaFayette Memory
Gardens, South. The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. today
at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
