Notice of the death of L. H. Tanner, which took place in Stockton , Cal. , March 15, reached The Times by mail yesterday. Deceased was once very well known in Chattanooga , having formerly been a merchant here and served for four years as clerk of the board of health. He leaves two sons, James R., of Fargo, N. D., and L. H., Jr., who lives in Stockton . The body will be brought to Chattanooga for interment.
