TAYLOR - Mrs Matilda, age 68, died early Sunday morning at the residence, 221 Sweetland Drive. Surviving are her husband, Thomas L Taylor; six daughters, Mrs R F Carroll, Mrs Edward Dedmon, Mrs C W Hatfield, Mrs W H Elrod, Misses Emma and June Taylor; four sons, F W, J A, and Robert L Taylor, all of Chattanooga and Oscar L Taylor, Baltimore; 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs Miles Rounceville, Jasper, Tenn; three brothers, Archie, Jonah and Douglas Moore, Whitwell Tenn. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, North Chattanooga Church of God, with the Revs. Ray Hughes and John Smith officiating. Interment in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The body is at the Funeral Home where it will remain until the hour of service. The National Funeral home in charge.
