TITTLE – T. C., 69, 403 Poplar Street,
passed away Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital. Survivors are his wife, Mrs.
Nancy Lee Tittle; five step-sons, Wallace, Truman and Benny Moon of Chattanooga,
Paul and Raymond Moon of Georgetown; two step-daughters, Mrs. Estelle Scoggins
of Harrison, Tenn., and Marvis Saffell of Chattanooga; four brothers, Clifton,
Grover and Creed Tittle of Chattanooga; Gordon of Cordova, Ala.; four sisters,
Mrs. M. C. Boydston, Mrs. R. Y. Brown, Mrs. R. M. Long of Chattanooga, Mrs. W.
L. Ogletree of Savannah, Ga., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Tittle, who
was previously with the Chattanooga Streetcar Company, was retired after 24
years with the U. S. postal service. He was a lifelong citizen of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be at the Coulter Funeral Chapel at 2 p. m. Thursday, with
the Rev. W. M. Tittle officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews. Interment will
be in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The body will remain at the R. J. Coulter
Funeral Home.
