Charles Edward Treece

Charles Edward Treece, aged 23 years, died at the residence
of his mother, Mrs. Z. T. Treece, corner of
Alabama avenue
and Sixth street
, St. Elmo. The young man was stricken with paralysis a week ago in the local
offices of the telephone company, where he was employed. He is survived by his
mother and four brothers. Funeral services will be held from the residence at
3 o’clock
this afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Massee, of the First Baptist church,
of which deceased was a member, and the Rev. Dr. Veasey, pastor of the St. Elmo
Baptist church. The following are requested to act as pallbearers: Fred and Carl
Fassnacht, Mr. Weiler, George Williams and Messrs. Flowers and Sanders, of the
telephone company. Interment will be at
Forest Hills
cemetery.
