Trotter, Lee Allen, 75, of Chattanooga, died
Saturday in a local hospital. Retired from TVA after 37 years of service,
he was a former member of the Board of Realtors and was a U.S. Army veteran of
World War II. He served from 1968 until the mid-80's in various capacities
with the Chattanooga TVA Employees Federal Credit Union including chairman,
supervisory committee, director and president of the board. He was a
member of First Baptist Church and had participated in the Vision 2000 Building
Fund Campaign and served as a life deacon. He was preceded in death by his
parents, J.V. and Mamie King Trotter. Survivors include his wife, Ruth
Garvich Trotter; two daughters, Carol T. Harris, Wilmington, Del., and Sharon T.
Tousek, Chattanooga; brother, William K. Trotter, Chattanooga; two sisters,
Mildred E. Trotter, Atlanta, and Betty Faye Ballinger, Pueblo, Colo.; three
grandchildren, Holly R. and John C. Harris, Emily K. Tousek. Services will
be at 1:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Golden Gateway, with Dr. Gary
Carver officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery. The body
will be at the church 30 Minutes before the service today. Memorial
contributions may be made to First Baptist Church. Arrangements by
Chattanooga Funeral Home, West.
