The Hamilton County Genealogy Society, through a special arrangement with S-K Publications, has produced the 1860 Hamilton County Census on CD. These CDs are now available from the HCTGS for $19.95 plus $2.95 shipping.

The images on the CDs are the original handwritten records, copied from the National Archives microfilm. The images are of  better quality than most on-line images and much easier to read than with a microfilm reader. With the imaging software included on the CD, you can actually magnify the images to make the handwriting larger. You can also print the images on 8-1/2 X 11" or 8-1/2 X 14" paper. Included on the CD is a map of the Hamilton County Civil Districts.

The CD does not include an index. However, one is available on the HCTGS web site.
