Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Camp of Apison announce the marriage of their daughter, Estelle Marie to James Orlando Brooks, of Fort Oglethorpe, Oct. 6, at Rossville, Ga. with Squire Ray Crowe officiating.  Mr. Brooks is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Brooks, of Silverdale.   He is stationed in the medical detachment at Fort Oglethorpe. Submitted by James O. Brooks, Jr.

Carter Goins was raised in Harrison, TN.  His parents were Tilman and Diana Goins. Tilman's father was Laborn Goins that lived on the property that is now David Gray Sanctuary in Sale Creek (Hamilton County, TN). Most of Sippie's children live or lived in Hamilton County. The Foster's from Wauhatchie are the largest group who derived from Carter and Sippie.

Hoback-Gravette Wedding Solemnized
The marriage of Miss Rosebud Gravette to J.V. Hoback, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hoback of Dayton, took place at the home of the Rev. Solon McNeese in Chattanooga on the morning of July fourth.  The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Wasson of Chattanooga.  The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gravette of Daisy.  Mr. Hoback is employed at the Colonial Bakery and the young couple will make their home in Chattanooga.
