OFFICERS CHARGE CAT PEOPLE
THOUGHT MAD.
A mad cat had the stage at 25 A Street
last night for nearly an hour. The mad cat was not made mad by the bite of a mad
dog. But this fact was not established until after motorcycle Officers Clinton
and Hyatt had made a record run to the above address in response to a telephone
call saying the mad cat had run amuck and chased the family out of the house.
When the intrepid officers entered the kitchen with drawn pistols ready to
dispatch the demented feline, they discovered a harmless and outraged kitty
struggling desperately and vociferously to free her tail from a broomstick to
which some mischievous youngsters had tied it.
