Tombstone Photos from the HCTGS

Color photographs of individual tombstones from cemeteries within Hamilton County may be obtained from the Hamilton County Genealogical Society. You may select either high quality digital prints sent by snail-mail or digital (.jpg) files sent by e-mail

Fees for this service: 

Digital prints, by USPS mail, are $20.00 for the first photo and $3.00 for each additional per cemetery.

Digital photographs, by e-mail, are $15.00 for the first photograph and $2.00 for each additional photo per cemetery. 

The cemetery and the tombstone requested MUST be listed in the cemetery section of the Hamilton County Genealogical Society website. Photos may also be obtained from the Chattanooga National Cemetery and Forest Hills Cemetery. The HCTGS has not surveyed Forest Hills Cemetery, however, Forest Hills does have a master list of burials. The names you request must be on the Forest Hills master list before we will attempt a photograph. We will notify you by e-mail if the name you request is not on their master list. Please allow 1 – 2 weeks for delivery of photographic prints and 7 to 10 days for digital images or prints.
